Boston University Radiology Associates (BURA) is a 42-physician academic practice that performs over 425,000 studies annually for Boston Medical Center and its affiliated community hospital and 15 Greater-Boston community health centers. Founded in 1896 as one of the first Radiology Departments in the United States, BURA has contributed to advances in the science and art of Radiology patient care, teaching, and scholarship. BURA is widely recognized for its prominence in acute trauma imaging, osteoarthritis imaging, and neuro-interventional radiology.
