Stockport NHS Foundation Trust selects Healthroster to optimise their workforce through more effective management of their staff.

19 July 2010

Following a decision to combine effective Time & Attendance management with an integrated e-Rostering solution, it was realised that a robust and technologically-fit solution was required to help the Trust continue to deliver the very best levels of care to the 350,000 people it serves.

Stockport NHS Foundation Trust was established on 1 April 2004. The Trust provides acute hospital care for 350,000 individuals predominantly across Stockport and the High Peak area of Derbyshire, and employs over 3,600 staff working across four sites.

After a thorough and extensive evaluation of e-Rostering suppliers and products, the Trust chose Allocate Software’s e-Rostering solution Healthroster, to carry out this task. Kay Wiss, Head of Finance at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust explains further why the Trust selected Healthroster; "I believe that e-rostering is one of the best possible ways to optimise our usage of staff and ensure that they are operating effectively and safely to help ensure that the patient experience is as positive as possible. It will also assist us in ensuring we efficiently use our resources and will identify areas for improvement. Following a procurement process, Stockport NHS Foundation Trust selected Allocate Software’s Healthroster because we believe it to be a robust and proven e-rostering product. The knowledge that the Allocate team showed of the product and of the environment in which it will be operating, together with the level of customer satisfaction, has given us the belief that this is the best product available that can respond to our needs."
