POB Management

The MAPS People on Board (POB) module is an optional extension to MAPS Maritime Suite, providing additional functionality to allow offshore facilities to plan, record and monitor movements between shore side and offshore locations. This allows for the production of accurate and timely emergency lists of total personnel onboard, as well providing additional functionality for shift movements between work and rest locations, lifeboat and cabin assignments. It also allows organisations to get a better understanding of the utilisation of offshore resources, providing information that allows for a more up to date and accurate plan of current and future offshore operations.

MAPS POB is particularly suited to offshore production facilities such as platforms and rigs, where health and safety is paramount and facilities managers need an accurate personnel list. The POB module also provides functionality that can help reduce the administration and paperwork required by providing the same information feeds for both shore side and offshore locations.
