Allocate DefenceSuite
delivers significantly enhanced access to the information required for effective decision-making in the modern defence environment.
Defence Sector
In an increasingly complex and volatile security environment, defence organisations have to be adaptable and responsive, able to shift emphasis rapidly between prevention, deterrence, protection and intervention. Against a backdrop of mounting pressures on defence budgets, the ability to utilise Enterprise Resource Planning to match resources to requirements is absolutely critical.
Addressing this challenge demands informed forecasting of the capabilities required and comprehensive optimisation of the means to achieve the outcomes. This must be coupled with easy access to, and the exploitation of, information from across the entire force structure; information that is trusted and can easily be shared, aggregated and modelled in order to accelerate informed decision-making. Known as Information Superiority, such a capability improves effectiveness and efficiency across platforms, personnel, logistics and finance.
However, whether at a strategic, operational or tactical level, there are common challenges that often prevent the timely management of information, thus reducing the ability to exploit it. These include:
-
siloed information - resulting in the inability to easily access information held in disparate databases or systems
-
historic or unverified data
-
time-consuming assimilation of data - requiring unnecessarily high levels of resource
-
impeded access - due to incompatible systems or security restrictions
-
lack of aggregation - making it difficult to assimilate a clear, consolidated view
-
limited modelling capabilities - due to information gaps or inconsistencies
Allocate Defence Suite is specifically designed to address these challenges, enabling defence organisations to remain agile and responsive by enabling accurate Information Management, delivering sound aggregated information, and allowing Information Exploitation through the ability to review past capabilities, manage current ones and forecast future requirements.
