Allocate selected by Ministry of Health for Brunei

Allocate is delighted to announce the award of a contract, in a consortium including local systems integrator Ishajaya Technology, to implement a major Hospital Information System project. The project will provide a fully integrated healthcare system to all Government Hospitals controlled by the Ministry of Health, Brunei. Bru-HIMS is one of the ministry’s ICT projects that aims to increase the efficiency of patient management as well as to increase security and reduce wastage. Scheduled to be fully operational in one year, it will involve transforming the manual data management of patients’ medical records and related data into electronic management.

The project will not only replace the previous computer system but also be added alongside other systems, which will make Bru-HIMS a system that integrates patient data management at medical and health centres.

It will also handle the patient appointment system, outpatient management system, inpatient management system, clinical care system, laboratory system, pharmacy system, radiology system, accidents and emergency system, nursing system, operating theatre system and properties system.

Over the next 9 months Healthroster will be rolled out to four hospitals across the Sultanate.
