Our team come from all walks of life and include people with backgrounds in HR, medical staffing, temporary staffing, pharmacy, nursing, defence and of course research and development, science, technology and business backgrounds.​

Many have worked directly in health, care, government and defence organisations. Some still deliver care part-time or as volunteers.​

All are motivated by the difference our technology is making to our customers day in day out.

Peter Holbrook

Chief Financial Officer

Peter leads RLDatix’s global finance team and is responsible for working with the executive leadership team to drive financial strategy, performance and major M&A transactions, as well as overseeing all regional finance functions. Peter received his Bachelor of Science in economics from The Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Stanford University.

Barbara Staruk

Chief Product Officer

Barbara is an experienced Product Management professional, bringing over 20 years of software experience to Allocate. Barbara has worked predominantly in healthcare technology, but has also spanned enterprise education software and payments technology. Barbara is passionate about the role that healthcare technology can play in improving the healthcare system for all. Originally from the US, with senior roles in both US and UK healthcare technology businesses, Barbara is driven to build products that focus on the evolving needs of clinicians.

Prior to joining Allocate, Barbara held roles at Epos Now, where she was Chief Growth Officer, Tribal Group, where she was Managing Director of Product and Development and Optum International, where she ran Global Product Management.

Simon Courage

Chief Solutions Architect

Simon Courage has led the direction of the company’s workforce management solutions for the past 12 years. In that time he has worked with hundreds of NHS organisations to understand the challenges faced in deploying the workforce safely and efficiently. He is particularly interested in how innovative technology can support nurses, increasing their buy-in and helping bring teams together to solve the big challenges healthcare organisations face. His direct experience and knowledge of both UK healthcare as well as his experience overseas in Australia, USA and Europe has led him to be invited to speak at multiple industry events on the challenges of effective workforce deployment in NHS organisations today.

Liz Jones

Chief Customer Officer

Liz has over 20 years’ experience in healthcare technology. Her most recent role was leading the communications and marketing strategy for Allocate’s UK business where she was proud to oversee the launch of the SafeCare product that is now used by over 160 healthcare organisations. Prior to this, she led the go-to-market for Dynamic Change, one of the UK’s first SaaS solutions for healthcare governance, risk and compliance, where she helped grow the business from start-up to market leader ahead of its acquisition. She has a deep interest in how healthcare policy and technology can combine to make a difference in care delivery.

Paul Scandrett has been with the company for 24 years, working with clients across the world to realise the goal of safe and efficient staffing models. Paul is a regular contributor to NHS Voices on safe staffing issues.

Erik Stone

Erik was appointed as Sales Director Time Care AB in 2009 and has been responsible for Allocate Software in the Nordics since 2011. Erik previously served as a naval officer in the Swedish Navy for ten years. After supplementing the military schools at the University of Stockholm for a year he started working as a director in the staffing and recruitment industry. Erik held the position as Business Area Manager, Recruitment Services at the leading Nordic company Proffice AB between 2002 and 2009 where he was also part of the management team.
